Taking photos is one of my favorite hobbies. It was sparked off when I used a borrowed Nikon D90 in 2012. The feeling of taking photos with an DSLR was astonishing compared to all the point-n-shoot cameras I had used before. The process of creating photos, the ability to adjust settings, and both the expected and unexpected outcomes. All were interesting. But more importantly, I learned to recognize beautiful perspectives, scenes, and moments. I like most taking portrait, landscape, and events of family and friends. My first camera was a Canon 550D with kit lens. I love it and had gone through many beautiful moments with it. My next and also current camera is a Canon 6D but I do not have chances to use it as much as when I was in Vietnam. Its weight is good when taking photos but not when going for a casual walk. That is why I mostly use my phone now. The best camera at a moment is the one you have at that moment. If I buy a new camera without any pressure, it will probably a Leica M.
By the way, "Photography" sounds too professional for me. I am a hobbyist. But "Taking photos" is not a good section title.
